I went to the match today. Sammy was gassed after. Hopefully once his conditioning catches up, he'll look more like the Sammy of old. His strength looks good, albeit against subpar competition.
Looking forward to seeing him at CKLV.

Sammy is gassed because every one of his matches is non stop action. He is in constant motion either defense, offense or both. He is so much fun to watch at this weight class even though it's probably not ideal for him.

Sammy explained in an interview on Flo he had an ankle injury about three months ago. He had to get surgery on it. This led him to have a slow start to the season. Makes me feel more optimistic as he was just recovering from that surgery as the season began.
