Agree that Jesse is avg size 141. But wasn't the purpose of having Mendez and Welsh to put your two best wrestlers in the lineup at the same time? I don't see how you redshirt Mendez next season for that reason. In fact I'm shocked they redshirted Welsh this year even though the wt clears out after this year.

Bouzakis to 125 is totally unserious.
Mendez has earned the right to pick his weight. Bouzakis to this point hasn’t.

Jared, unfortunately yes.
Bouzakis’ issues are more skill than conditioning or focus at this point. He has no lateral movement. None. He can only go straight ahead which isn’t scoring points against quality competition. Worse, it leaves his legs vulnerable which we saw on Davis’ takedowns.
133 is not a particularly strong weight nationally. Bouzakis is so close but yet so far away from the top tier.
