Don, at this point I tend to agree with you. Gallagher is at 160 now, dropping 3 more pounds shouldn't be a problem. You have to fit Karchla, Smith & Romero into the starting lineup somehow. Let Rocky, Gavin & Chase battle it out for 197.

Agree Jack, that’s my point. And if we could find a transfer or other commit to go at 133, Decatur could move to 141 to compete with Echemendia and DeEmilio. Hopefully the increased competition might improve those weights as well.

Heavyweight may need to be addressed as well. Orndorff was brought in with the hopes OSU would have a stronger presence in a stacked 285 Big Ten field.
He wrestled five matches against Steveson, Parris, Cass and Hilger. Orndorff failed each time to last seven minutes.
That said, he had some wins this weekend so maybe it's premature to count him out.

"Malik meets Schroder tonight. Didn't he choose neutral in their dual & lost 1-0? If that happens again (no TD's) will they change strategy and have him take down? IMO, you might as well see what happens now and not at NCAA's in two weeks should they meet there."

Jags clearly wanted him to take neutral in the semis but Malik took down and got out. I think he takes down this time."

I was wrong on this.
And at the risk of seeming like the get off my lawn guy, I can do without the RBY and Starocci showboating antics. If you back away from engaging your opponent to do a little dance, you are wasting time and stalling, as odd as it seems to write that about RBY, who is a great offensive talent.
If Starocci tries that against Kaleb, I hope he puts him in Cael’s lap.
