Ohio State's best performance years were when Tervel Dlagnev was an assistent coach. What have been Nebraska's best performance years? When Tervel has been a coach.

Slap! Also an interesting observation. Can we throw Rosselli in there?

I’m not advocating for Tom Ryan to lose his job, but I do think the coaching staff needs revamped. Program seems a little stale. Obviously as buckeye fans our standards are very high. Bringing back Lou or Tervel would be great, but I think that ship as sailed.
I believe Mendez’ revenge tour will continue tonight, and beats hardy. DD has had a fantastic weekend. I’m hoping for 3-5 place. I could hate to see him triple dip
As far as replay goes, get rid of it. It takes too much time, there is no reason it should take 10 minutes to review something. Also I feel coaches are using it just get their guys a breather.
Those are my ramblings, as Hank stated, maybe one of you smart guys on here can cobble my thoughts into a coherent thought

"I’m not advocating for Tom Ryan to lose his job, "
This is his 30th season as a head coach (including Hofstra).

"No bad teams, just bad leaders." Jocko Willink
Tom Ryan raised the bar and taken Bucks to heights never seen at OSU...but heavy is the crown and staying on top is way harder than climbing to the top.
My main issue with Ryan is his focus on suffering. That you have to go through pain to be hardened enough to be a champion.
I have no insight on how Bucks coach practice but when I read Rex's posts about technique vs grit I tend to think Ryan is from the old school of Gable and suffering and grit are higher on the list than technique.
Next year is the tipping point for Ryan in my opinion. No excuses.

If you take a way all the guys wrestling in their 5th NCAA tournament where would bucks be in team standings?
I would like to see Bucks bring in a young guy outside the program even as a graduate assistant.

I've had enough of this 5th year BS. Now we have NIL to deal with.

Matt Schein--Wrestling could not do a worse job with replay. They almost never overturn calls and when they do, they goof it badly.
Doug Gainous--That's a great post.

Brutal day for the rest of the bucks. I know NCAA's are hard but yikes!"

I’ll apologize to DD for you. ;)
He’s had a great tournament.
His only loss was to the undefeated returning champ, in the semis, and he wrestled him to the bone - was so close to getting a blast double, then up 2-1 into the third.
Just dominated a tough kid - McNeil from UNC - who he was 0-2 against, previously.
He was the #13 seed, will be competing for 3rd later today.
DD competes as hard as anybody.
Is now a 2-time AA.
And is an absolute asset to the program, think he had like a 4.0 and is now in grad school.
Great kid.

DD has wrestled amazing and his game plan completely changed. He used to attack attack and get out scrambled. But this weekend he stayed in a great stance and picked his moments with low risk high reward shots.
Great career and by all accounts a better person.

If you can hit a good hard double -- it's the best leg attack there is.

Probably not very high. D’Emilio’s points would be missing.
