Quote from Rex Holman's post:

"There is a picture on the wall in the Iowa locker room (or at least there use to be). It had the Been brothers, Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda. This contest exemplifies why opinions mean zip and the guy standing on that mat is a hero."

But...but....but....the guy I picked shoulda won.

I decided to go with the PSU theory and leave one at home. Steveson looked good, but not good enough. BTW, I made that mistake my freshman year at the NCAAs of going out at relentless pace in the blood round, made a mistake later in the match due to fatigue and a loss of position. Coulda, shoulda, woulda picked Zahid. He's on fire. Good luck to Mark Hall in stopping those leg attacks. Hats off to those that picked Mekhi Lewis and Drew Foster. Bang for the buck.

In the all important battle for 59th place, I am all alone with 101 points. I am crushing the likes of Roe Fox (by half a point), Jared Ball, Jason L Jackson, Mark Niemann and Ethan Moore. Since these guys are forum regulars, I've concluded that those of us who post a lot should probably be replaced by lots of folks who talk less but know more.

Amen.

Point of note: Don’t the rules state that one wrestler per weight class must be selected?? (Any chance to move from 67th to 66th would REALLY help my already-shattered ego.)

After a long weekend in PA, I'll post results and award winners here tomorrow.

Was great to see so many friends this weekend. Got to watch a win at the tourney by a guy I coached - really hoping I need to switch from Spartan, to Moc, to OU, to tOSU shirts next year in my home state.

If you are going to MN next year, you'll want to get a hotel either very close to US Bank Stadium or in a town that has a train stop in it because traffic in the Twin Cities is horrific.

Pretty simple actually looking for 2 things...Guys that will outplace their seed and guys that have high probability of bonus. I usually start with the under seeded bonus types..For example Lee, Zahid

I would like to thank the 14 people who threw caution — and reason — to the wind kept me out of last place.

I owe you all a beer.
