I’m curious how anyone knows anything since Blaze doesn’t seem to talk to anyone about his recruitment. Polar opposite of Basset.

Never had a feeling that Blaze was headed to Columbus, but if he is indeed headed to PSU that obviously puts even more pressure on landing one of Bassett or Forrest. Seems like Ohio State is not in the mix for the Raney bros.

I have serious doubts on your source. From sources of mine that are inside the Perrysburg room they do not know. So if it’s not being leaked with the people he trains with everyday hard to imagaine someone else would know in “big ten circle”. Unless Cael, Tom Ryan’s, or Joey blaze is your source I’m not convinced. I think it’s just speculation at this point.
However that doesn’t mean he doesn’t end up at Penn state. I still think they are the favorite. He just seems like a Cael prototype. Very serious and businesslike. He doesn’t give away his hand ever during this recruitment. Doesn’t even seem to want to talk about it. He didn’t even post a list but when he named his top 6 teams in an interview he only really remembered Penn State, Ohio state, Michigan, and Cornell.
Penn state insiders have no clue, Ohio state insiders have no clue, Willie and Pat mineo who would love to report it have no clue. That is only because Marcus just isn’t telling anyone anything. The only reason we believe it is between Ohio state and Penn state is because that is where he has been seen and frequented the most. Penn state had someone sneak pictures of him during a white out game. Ohio state was at perrysburg just last week.
The one thing Ohio state that favors him is Burnett and Stieber are very close. Marcus always speaks very highly of Burnett and that could have an impact. While speculation was he is about to announce who even knows if that is true. I would be extremely surprised if it wasn’t Ohio state or Penn state however.

Rumor on PSU board he will be back at PSU in a few weeks.
This is also coming from the guy who said he was committing to PSU a few weeks ago.
Could just be going to watch the All-Star match.

Guess he is going to PSU according to FLO article
will be going for his fourth title this year. He's also won the prestigious Ironman
tournament and has placed at Super 32 twice. Last season, Blaze tested himself at the Clarion Open in November and placed second while
notably defeating NCAA runner-up Matt Ramos. Blaze is truly one of the most accomplished high school wrestlers of all time and will carry huge
expectations with him to State College.

Huh?????? Flo is not reporting he is going to Penn state. He may end up there but I mean that’s bad journalism to ruin a kids college commitment. Don’t see any article saying he is going to Penn state.

That quote is from the original article. Screen shots are all over social media. The article has since been updated to more vague speech.
