Does anyone know what grade this kid is in and what colleges he may be considering if an upperclassman?

He will be a senior. Don't know what schools he's considering though.

Thanks, Nena. I think OSU might want to look at him. I heard they where looking at Oliver from PA. I saw a video where he beat Oliver.

I would have to see that since his older brother Cesar is at Penn, they probably have the best shot.

Thanks, Earl, for that info. Yeah, I know nothing about the kid, I just read something on a forum where they were arguing about who was better - him or Oliver - so I watched the video. He looked to have some good potential and I thought OSU would be taking a look at him. Yeah, seeing that his brother is at Penn, that will probably mean he will follow.

I'm coaching down here in Rock Hill, SC and we took our kids to the Zac Jarzynka Ironman in Oviedo, FL last year. It's one of the toughest tourneys in the Southeast. They had a killer field there including the South Dade team that beat Brandon. Anyway, I was listening to some of the coaches talk about the Grajales kid. Most said he is just too dominating for words. He is undefeated so far in high school and last year he pinned everyone except for his opponent in the state final, where he put the kid in a cradle with his legs. I was watching the show on ESPNU they had about Brandon called "The Streak" and it featured some good stuff on him. It was interesting to go back and check on all those Florida kids we faced. I'm not sure who the Oliver kid is you were referring too but the Grajales kid is supposed to pretty bada$$.

Yeah, Oliver is pretty good - I would say NCAA Champ someday. I would still like OSU to get Grajales.

Grajales projects to be about 133/141 most likely 141 in college. That is a future need for Ohio State as Humphrey will be there next year but the space is open after that. I just don't know if Ohio State has the money to bring him up here and if Grajales has the desire to come here as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at Penn if he has the grades and wrestle with his brother and for Zeke Jones too.

Bucks have just added Jameson, Messerall and Collin Palmer to the mix plus Logan Stieber in a few years. All project to be in the 141-149 range initially. Grajales more of a luxury than a necessity.

Yeah I would agree Hank. I just watched him on youtube he look pretty tough. I don't see the Messerall ever breking the line up though. I do think this kid would be more likely to.

Messerall has great upside. He really didn't wrestle the toughest schedule in high school and with the right drill partners and coaches he could be a diamond in the rough.
