Is Hrovat St. Eds First Olympian? I cannot think of anyone else. If so its pretty amazing considering all the great wrestlers that have come out of there the last 30 years....

I believe so. Greg Elinsky came close but lost in the final Olympic wrestle off to Kenny Monday.

yes Hrovat is st Eds first Olympian -- and they have only had 3 NCAA Div I champs Jim Hefferman, Alan Fried and Ryan Bertin. Just illustrates how incredibly difficult it is to be an NCAA champ, and much more so to be an Olympian or World Team member.

Olympics come only every 4 years, so only 7 guys every 4 years make the US Olympic team in freestyle, and 7 in Greco--- what an honor !

congrats Andy, i've always liked Andy, he seems like a genuine nice guy.
