Discussion Topic: Results: Longhorn Round Robin
Dave Ressler added to this discussion on July 13, 2008

Before the results I would just like to publicly recognize some people that made the two tournaments such successes. First DJ Vondruska and Ken Sanger. DJ and Ken were behind the scenes at the computer and getting the concessions and hospitality room set up. We had very few issues this year with DJ running the brackets and Ken getting the bouts out. Also thanks to DJ’s better half- Jenn for helping with registration. Also to the rest of the Vondruska’s: Ann, Don and Chris for all their behind the scenes work (well Don’s not so much behind the scenes!). Chris did a phenomenal job running the camp and bringing in Mike, J.D., Lance, Sean and Coach Ryan. Secondly to all the table workers: Doug Huff, Andy Morales, Harry Dennis, Marc Liese, Mark Bednash, Mark Watson, Joe McHugh, Colin McHugh, Jeff Vasiloff, Rich Mecklenburg, Steve Long and the Lutheran West wrestlers on Friday. They all did a great job. Next to the referees: Deke Gunsolley, Kelly Stillman, Tom Bauer, Fabian Lujan and Scott Morgan. No complaints whatsoever! Concessions: Jeanne Bednash (organized it all), Bobbi Wenner and Martha Ressler. Thanks! Also thanks to Jamie Liese for raffling off the Longhorn Steakhouse gift cards. Thank you to Erhardt Bell for setting up the Longhorn Steakhouse sponsorship. Finally, thanks to the runners on Saturday: Parker Watson, Adler Vasiloff, Zack Sanger and Jacob Ressler.

To the Coaches: Thanks for the emails with the weights.
To the Wrestlers: Fantastic job both Friday and Saturday. You wrestled well, respected the officials and our facilities. Thank you. Hope to see you next summer at the 4th Annual Longhorn Round Robin!
