As we watched the incredible opening ceremony of the Olympics last night, my daughter, 8, kept politicking to be allowed to stay up to watch the USA team enter the arena. She kept insisting we let her watch so I finally asked why it was so important to her.
"I want to see Andy," she told my wife and I.
What could I say? The Cleveland wrestler she'd met the week before was "Andy." He'd given her an autographed poster. How could I not allow her to stay up and possibly catch a glimpse of him marching with the American Olympic squad.
She fell asleep.

Saw the pics Andy took from the parade/ opening cermony-- he shaved the beard. There are still a couple with the beards though. Also, Askren's hair seemed to have some more bounce to it, lol.
