I see they have 2 Opens right away, Buffalo & NC State. Hope a lot of the redshirts get to go. Is Caldwell still with NC State? What are the Ironman dates this year?

Most teams start the year with opens. These happen to be two new ones for Ohio State, and ones I'm unfamiliar with in terms of competition.
Normally you'll see EMU and MSU Opens on the schedules of midwest teams, but instead it's Buffalo and NC State.
Buckeye Duals is the next week on a Sunday (11/16). I think that'll be a great opportunity to get the community out to watch Ohio State wrestling.
All-Star Meet is Monday 11/24 at SJA.
Then, you have the big preseason tournament, Las Vegas Open.
OSU will dual Edinboro before taking the holiday season off; this year, it's on the road, and the Fighting Scots will have Donahoe and G Scott in the lineup.
Kent State in Columbus begins the dual meet season (Sunday 1-4).
The National Duals are the next weekend, then Ohio State takes a week off before the crux of the dual meet season.
Sunday 1/25 @ Hofstra
Friday 1/30 vs Indiana (7P)
Sunday 2/1 vs Minnesota (11A)
Friday 2/6 @ Penn State
Sunday 2/8 vs Purdue (5P)
Friday 2/13 @ Michigan (7P)
Sunday 2/15 vs Illinois (2P)
Friday 2/20 @ Northwestern
Sunday 2/22 @ Wisconsin
Big Ten's are at Penn State 3/7 and 3/8 (OHSAA state tournament is 3/5 to 3/7)

That is one tough schedule. It goes without saying that the Big Ten stuff will be brutal but then you add in add three top 15 teams in Edinboro, Hofstra and Kent.

Wasn't there supposed to be a match taking place in the Toledo area this year? I thought the Buckeye open was scheduled to be at Perrysburg.

Josh: I've read on TheMat.com that Donahoe will be 2nd semester and Scott not until the following year.
