Jordan follows in the footsteps of his father and uncle and commits to Wisconsin.

The Badgers have a rock solid class already, getting Jordan and Howe in the early signing period.

That's great news for Ben and the Badgers. He's a gamer, for sure. He probably projects to be at 157 in college, but if reports of his growth are correct he could end up at 165 in time.

Wow. And Coby Boyd just signed with Michigan--as did Hunter Collins from Gilroy.

Supposedly, the Bucks had substantial interest in Ben Jordan. They lost him to Wisc. Can't lock down the state completely without the money to sign everyone.

I guess, considering his dad & uncles ties to Wisc., we can't be too surprised; I still would like to see OSU get Jameson if they can. Like people have said in the past, his funky style seems like it could work for him at the college level where scrambles are so common.

I would have loved to seen him at OSU but I guess when your Dad is a 2x NCAA champion there and Uncle is a 2x AA it has to be in the blood to be a badger.

The biggest question I have about Jordan is what weight will he end up at in college. He projects to be a 165/174 much bigger than both his dad and uncle ever were. I think that Jordan with the strength he has added on this summer he will definately be hard to stop this year on the mat.

Don't forget about Cole Schmitt in this upcoming class for Wisconsin. The Badgers seem to be setting up the middle of their lineup for years to come.

Those are three very good wrestlers, all inside InterMat's top 75 recruits (for whatever that means).

Jeff and Jim's sister, Ben's aunt, still lives in Wisc , I believe. My wife was told by Coach Jordan's wife that it was funny the two boys went out and she went with them. The boys came back and she stayed. fwiw.

Ben's mom is also a Wisconsin alum. Some strong family ties there.

I hear that Madison is one of the best college towns in America. There are very strong ties if Ben's mom went there.

Yep, Dan, Madison is a great college town and Wisconsin is probably the best of the rest academically in the Big Ten (once getting past Northwestern and Michigan).
