1st Annual “Firebird Super Duals”
Team Wrestling Tournament

Grades:
Current 9th – 12th graders
Times:
8:00 am Weigh-Ins (by team)
8:40 am Coaches Meeting
9:00 am Start Wrestling on 6 mats (continuous wrestling)
Weights (12):
108 117 125 132 139 146
154 162 172 190 220 280
* Wrestler should not be below this years certified weight
Teams (16):
12 wrestlers (plus extras if you want to sub)
Extras may fill open spots on other teams
10 of the 12 must be from your school.2 wrestlers may be from outside your school. We want full teams – NO FORFEITS
Format:
Folkstyle – 1 ½ minute periods
to be determined – based on # of teams
** YOUR TEAM WILL GET AT LEAST 5 or more DUALS **
Awards:
T-shirts & Team Trophy for 1st, 2nd place teams.
Entry Fee:
$300 per team – Open to the first 16 Teams
(covers licensed officials, facility rental, insurance)
Admission:
Family Cap = $ 9.00
Adults = $ 3.00
Student = $ 2.00
To Enter Your Team:
1. $200 non-refundable deposit by Wednesday, March 18th
(payable to “Ohio Firebirds") Email for send to address
The balance can be paid at check-in or before.
2. Coach’s Information Sheet-email me for this
3. Team Information Sheet and waiver forms will sent to the
head coach after the deposit has been received.
Other Information:
1. Singlets - mandatory
2. Headgear - optional
3. Each team needs to supply two workers (free admission, free food/drink). The 2 teams who are wrestling will run the table.
4. Full concessions
5. Restaurants and ample lodging available within 5 minutes.

This tournament will be a well run and and highly competitive dual meet tournament, with many of the top teams from the Cincinnati and Dayton area competing in it at Lakota West High School in West Chester Ohio.
Teams entered so far that are confirmed: Moeller, St. X, Elder, Harrison, Vandalia Butler, Lakota West, Mason, Fairfield, Centerville, Princeton, Loveland.
Columbus coaches: This tournament will be even better if their is some representation from your area!!!! Get in this tournament while you can!!!
