Discussion Topic: West Geauga seeks teams to complete Schedule for 2008

West Geauga is looking for several schools to complete events on its 2007-8 schedule. West G. is located 25 miles east of Cleveland and is 8 miles from I - 271 and 10 miles from I - 90. - We have a 1 - point opening for a varsity team on 1/25/08 to complete a tri - meet with St. Edward's Green team at 6PM.
- We have an opening for a JV team to complete a 1 - point four - team
tri meet with Kenston and Twinsburg on 1/11/08 at 6PM.
- We have an opening for 1 or 2 JV teams to complete a
1 - point tri - meet with Berea on 12/21/07 at 6PM.
- Due to a scheduling conflict at Hawken this year, we are also hosting their duals. Contracted varsity teams include Chagrin Falls and Wellsville and we also have Austintown Fitch's "B" squad. We would welcome 1 or 2 more varsity squads to complete the 2 - point event.
While we won't make anyone forget Blair Academy, West G. should be decently competitive this year. We have 1 state qualifier, 1 district placer, 5 previous district qualifiers and 4 previous sectional placers as returning starters. We also have a junor high state qualifier at 103. We would LOVE for teams to sign up to fill out our schedule.
