Saw on another site that Collin Palmer and Tony Jameson will wrestle unattatched at the Southern Scuffle at the end of the month. This should answer a lot of questions as to where these two stand in terms of developement. Personally I think they both will show that they can compete with the best at this level.

I think we all know Palmer can compete with anyone in the nation being a 3x AA already. I am very interested to see how Jameson does in the tournament as it could be a great platform for him to showcase his style and ability.

Interesting to see Collin down at 141 does that mean he's in line for next year and they slide down Jameson to 149? It should be interesting to see how these two wrestlers do.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jameson placed top 4. Moley, Saddorice, Bonilla-Bowman, Gonsor, and Shuster will all be challenges.

It's tough to say how Collin will do since this is only his second collegiate competition and he apparently had some injury. 141 seems pretty weak, though.

Jameson wont be seeded, so he will probaly see a high seed in the first or second round. That could be bad for a high seeded wrestler. One would think that his first match will be against a stud or a semi stud. If he beats a high seed early or late ....then they will fear him (godfather3) lol ...or you can no longer wonder if his style will work in college.

I am optimistic about Jameson, too, but his record to date does not indicate he is ready to beat top level kids. Hopefully the Scuffle will act as a coming out party, but let the kid get his feet wet before expecting too much. I saw on a national forum someone predicting he wins the Scuffle, way too soon to be making these type of bold predictions.

I agree, but from what i understand the lost to the purdue guy was a great match. This is his first year of college wrestling and that was a good showing. Patacsil has a good resume on the mat. Do you think jameson will have a high seed for his first match?????.....And if he wins ...What kind of doors will open for him at the scuffle????

Jameson has always been a great competitor but let's allow him to prove something before getting ahead of ourselves. Precious few frosh hit the D1 circuit and win big right away. Losing close to Sam Patascil is not a statement.

Jameson is capable of a big upset. He also lost in the finals of his first tourney to an Edinboro true frosh who was a low state placer in PA last season. As he develops into a more consistent performer, success will come.

I read that he lost to jake(andrew patascil) ....he is wrestling for a wrestling club and he is the 2nd seed at the midlands. The next few days will be a tell all ........do you thinks jameson will have a 1,2,or 3 seed in the first or second round.

Jameson's close loss was indeed to Jake Patacsil- an AA last year and a very, very funky and dangerous wrestler. This was a good showing, and his performance thusfar this year has been pretty positive.
