CBS has been showing the most boring possible matches. Don't they know that no one wants to see Morningstar "wrestle"?
I have to admit that Meade wrestled a STUPID match. You are wrestling an big time staller who has a bad knee. What do you do? You take 50 shots and either they work or your opponent gets called for stalling. Sounds like a good plan, right? Well instead, he backs up off the whistle and tries to out stall Morningstall. Guess what, Meade loses. I wonder if maybe his coaches didn't show up, and he had to try to figure out a strategy all by himself.

Don: I agree. I'm shocked that he lost. Colt had wrestled very well towards the end of the season. I didn't see him being upset. When Reader lost, I thought the wrestling gods had decided to smile upon him. Evidently, they had other ideas.
As an interesting aside, I've been reading books with my children from the series "The Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan. It incorporates Greek mythology into an adventure series. One of the points constantly made is about how things often don't turn out as you think they will.
Colt desperately needs to come back and place. It's a one match at a time proposition but quite "doable" if he can settle down and perform. I hope he can string together some wins.

That's been his "problem" the last few seasons. A loss like this really deflates him. I, too, would like to see some improvement in this trend. We'll see.
BTW, this live coverage by CBS all access is a great idea, but only one mat? I like what ESPN360 does in the quarters; they allow you to pick a mat of choice, I realize logistically it's hard to broadcast all the mats, but only one mat??
