Kyle Gilchrist, a senior at Jefferson High School, verbally committed to Columbia University. Columbia is one of the prestigious Ivy League universities, well-known for their excellent academics. Gilchrist was 42-4 and placed fourth at the Division 2 state tournament at 112 pounds last year after finishing as a state runner-up at 103 pounds as a sophomore. His record the past two seasons is a stellar 87-5. He is projected to wrestle at 125 pounds for Columbia.
