Bad Karma Thanksgiving Turkey Burp Holiday Team Duals

Ages: Any wrestler grades K thru 8th grade
Weight Classes:
48 53 58 63 68 73 78 83 88 93 98 103 108 115 125 135 150 285
Cost: $400 per team (approximately $20 per wrestler)
FORMAT: Dual Team wrestling format 2 pools of 6 teams. Each team wrestles 5 matches in their pool and cross bracket for placement. 1st of pool A will wrestle 1st of pool B for 1st/2nd place, and 2nd place of pool A will wrestle 2nd place of pool B for 3rd/4th place and on down.
Periods: All periods will be 1-1-1
-Overtime rule is shut clock off and first take down wins
-Overtime winner scores 2 pts for takedown. No back points or falls awarded in overtime.
Awards to top 3 placing teams
-Additional team champ t-shirts to all 1st place wrestlers
Admission: $4 per adult and $1 per student
Weigh Ins: 7:00 to 8:00 wrestling starts at 8:30 AM
-Each team will be weighing in the day of the event NO EXCEPTIONS
-No weight allowance NO EXCEPTIONS
-If a wrestler doesn’t make weight he/she will required to bump up or sit out
Special forfeit rule – If there is no wrestler weighed in there is 2 only team points awarded to opposing team –If you weigh a wrestler in and bump up that is considered a forfeit and 6 team points awarded.
