► Add to the Discussion Page 1, 2  Next Discussion Topic: Kent's Frosh Hank Kornblut added to this discussion on August 27, 2011 Looking at their roster, I see the following wrestlers listed as true frosh. 125: Del Vinas (twnsbrg) 125/33 Alfredo Gray (wdsworth) 133: Kyle Bauer (wheeling Park, WVA) 141: Nate Hile (lexington) 149: Nick Carr (S. Fayette, Pa) 149: Jacob Schultz (Lewistown, Pa) 149/157: Ian Miller (Oak Harbor) 157: Clay Wenger (Wdswrth) 157/165: Tyler Buckwalter (Mill Hall, Pa) 165: Tyler Gargano (Hermitage, Pa) 184/197: Cole Baxter (Butler, Pa) 184/197: Nick Brown (Gahanna Lincln) 197: Irayel Williams (Rhodes) A few things leap out--the number of Pa kids now on the roster as well as the sheer number of true frosh. Curious if anyone can offer some info on who some of these kids are and who might be "diamonds in the rough."        Discussion Topic: Kent's Frosh Josh Lowe added to this discussion on August 27, 2011 Realistically speaking, Bauer, Carr, and Miller are the ones Kent is expecting the most production from -- they're the top three kids in that class. If those three don't contribute for multiple years, then Kent didn't get the job done in terms of identifying and developing kids. Everyone else falls into the crapshoot category. Success as a program will be determined if they can get two (or more of them) to contribute for multiple years. I'd point to Irayel Williams as the one that Kent probably hopes for the most to pan out because 197 is a hard weight to fill. Though he's more of an upside kid. He had some excellent wins over quality opponents during his junior and senior years. Tall and lanky kid; with a low single. BIG frame. I think he ended with a knee injury this past year. I know he wrestled at FloNationals. Not sure how he ended up.
