They have already commented on missing Kilgore and Paddock. I thought these were interesting- kind of a glimpse into where the redshirts are and how they are doing.

Add Alfredo Gray (Kent) 10th and Cole Baxter (Kent 1st).

Baxter is having a great RS campaign. I wonder how he does with Newburg/Witt?

Wheeler from Kent beat Wellington OU 7-5 this weekend, I found that an interesting result.

From OU's perspective:

Chino: 18-6
Walters: 20-10
Willet: 14-12
Duckworth: 11-8
Wellington: 22-10
Rodgers: 17-7

Have all had busy and successful campaigns. I also have a lot of respect for Hartshorn, who is 13-8 and a 5th year senior behind Johnson.

The concern would be 25-41, the RSs at those weights have not been as active.

For KSU, the RSs have had a strong year:

Gray: 21-5
Opfer: 10-11
Candiello: 16-14
Carr: 12-2
Buckwalter: 14-10
Wenger: 18-12
Marsh: 9-4
Baxter: 23-4
Marrerro: 12-10

Carr and Baxter, I think both from the PA-Kent pipeline, have looked solid.

For KSU, I feel for Clopton as I do for Hartshorn. Only the truly mentally strong could lose their starting line up and still sacrifice for the sport at that level.

Love to see this much activity from RSs/backups.

It's interesting to see this. Shows you why Iowa never has a down year. 7 guys in the top 3. That's a lot of room competition.
