Thoughts on the tournament

- Corrill (Moeller) is very long hard to score on very good on top riding tonight
- Herrington (Sycamore) finally at the right weight looked very tough tonight, big physical wrestler
- Garringer (Miami Trace) a very tough guy but unfortunately in a stacked DII 119 weight with Neibert, Papesh and company
- Pretty (Elder) looked super on the feet against Giffin and even tougher on top. I see him and Genetin in the finals at 125 in DI this year.
- Fields very solid performance, workman like against a team member from his days of youth and Jr High
- Krummert (Milford) very tough on his feet, very long hard to score on Meyer (Elder) wasn't able to do much against him but some great action
- Difrabitus (Mason) very slick on his feet with unorthodox style, Cloran (Madeira) I fear is cutting to much weight to get to 140 was up at 145 last year
- Fraley (Miami Trace) very solid wrestler all around against Stevens (Lakota West) who was banged up
- Carraher (St. Xavier) with the upset of the night over Gobin (Moeller), Carraher is at least 6 feet tall and just had Gobin flustered all night long
- Geter (Hamilton) this kid is an athlete he could very well find himself in the state finals against Roddy this year
- Tumlin (Harrison) finally settled down and then took it to Allen (Hamilton) he is definately the top guy at 189 but Lamberg and others could be closing in
