Anyone going to be at this dual?

Live updates would be appreciated ;)

I think the Eagles upper weights will prove to be too much for SPG, but it is going to be a very close dual. Would like to see the last match come down to Jordan/Heil to possibly decide the meet.

I was a little surprised by the final results. Jordan showed his Ironman semi was no fluke. That kid is just making huge strides from his already high level, can't wait to see what he looks like as a senior.

The general consensus was St. Eward's upper weights would score bonus and pull away and it just didn't happen. Congrats to Graham on a great win. Also, when you look at this St. Edward team and the guys who are graduating and you compare them to the Moeller squad and what they have coming back, it looks like next year's DI tourney will be a great one.

I read DR's writeup and a few things stood out.

First, one of the St Eds upperwts (220?) had to default while winning.

Secondly, Bentley was winning 4-2 and gave up three stall points. Eds kids really don't stall. I'll have to see the match but I already hate that three penalty points made the difference in this match.

But, Micah Jordan over Heil is also a huge key win.

Looks like Graham wrestled well and caught a few breaks.

Please remember I'm a NE Ohio guy and root for Eds in this matchup so I'm a bit bitter.

I decided to head up to the meet last night so I'll provide my thoughts.
- Micah just looks to be the better of the two wrestlers. He seems to be more aggressive, attacks more, and is more prepared for a full 6 minutes. Seems odd to say that Heil isn't prepared for the 3rd period but either he isn't in as good of shape or just seems uninterested. Almost reminds me of how Grajales wrestles.
- The 220 match was different. St. Ed's 220 was injured early. Looked like he wanted to get sick during his first injury timeout. I couldn't tell if he hit his head or was just sick? 2nd period he called for injury time while on his back. After that injury time Coach Jordan was well aware, as was the entire gym, that he was now out of injury time and the next one would result in forfeit. The only person who didn't seem to be aware that injury time had been depleted was the Eds wrestler and I'm assuming the coaches since he called for injury time again while on his back. That was the end of the match. At that point Graham kid would have won anyway and may or may not have gotten 6.
- Bentley did stall on bottom. Did it warrant 4 penalty points? That is debatable. My issue was that the referee was unaware he had hit Bentley the 4th time. First stall call was in the first period. The next 3 were in the 3rd period. I honestly think the last stall call wouldn't have been called had the ref known it would decide the outcome of the match, as bad as that sounds. However, in all fairness, Bentley wasn't exactly trying to improve his position at any point in the 3rd period.
- Overall, this was an awesome dual. Some great matches and an electric atmosphere. As much as I thought Eds would win I'm never surprised to see how hard Graham kids wrestle.

Eric: Thanks for filling in blanks.

Not surprised to see that Micah Jordan is emerging as one of the top prep wrestlers in the country. All the Jordan boys have been fabulous.

What I took away from the 220 match was that Welty was cranking him hard and forced Knapp to tap the first time in the 2nd period and then I didn't see how he used the 3rd injury timeout.

In regards to the Jordan vs. Heil match the one thing I noticed was Jordan doesn't stop moving and creating opportunities to score. He didn't fret when Heil took him down he got out and kept working his shots.
