Good Article! And it sounds like it was a great match to watch.
From my perspective, this sounds like a David vs. Goliath type victory. A smaller school from Central/SW Ohio takes on the big Cleveland area school ranked #2 in the county.
Coach Jordan has done an outstanding job with that program and has to be considered one the the absolute best high school coaches in the country.
I just wish wish they'd start more of their outstanding wrestlers to OSU instead of Wisconsin and elsewhere.
WELCOME TO BO JORDAN TO Columbus NEXT YEAR~!!!!

I believe Tom Ryan and Mike Pucillo were in attendance. A crazy dual, and incredibly fun from a fan's perspective.

I saw Pucillo there last night I didn't see Coach Ryan.
It was a great match. I thought after the 170 match that Graham was done but they fought through and came away with the win. I just loved how it had to come down to the 113 match and getting a major so they could get the win. Seipel was able to get the major for the victory.
I have to imagine that was a long drive back to Cleveland.

One thing I really want to see a video of is the 106 match. To go from a 4-1 lead to losing 5-4 off giving 4 stalling points all called in the third period. Not saying that they weren't unjust but if a ref is going to call that many stalls on a bottom man I hope he was consistant the whole night calling out stalls like that for all bottom men.

His first stall call in the first period was warranted. Bentley was pushing the action in the 2nd period. He chose bottom in the 3rd period knowing he had to do nothing but hold for the victory.
No stall calls were called until about :45 left when he then was dinged 3 times in that period. Bentley was doing nothing but trying to hold on. I'm neutral on how they chose to call them in that period. Mostly I'm still trying to wrap my head how he lost due to stall calls.

I'm not sure that you can call Graham "David" to anybody.

I see Micah won again. I recall there was all kinds of banter after Ironman about Dean having the flu or whatever. I guess Mr. Jordan is proving his salt. It's dang tough to beat a competitor the caliber of Dean Heil twice in the same season. It's great seeing two great wrestlers like that going at it, no matter who wins!

To add a Buckeye slant (cuz that's what always happens on this forum):
Next fall: Bo Jordan and Nate Tomasello arrive
The following fall: Kyle Snyder and Micah Jordan?

Well, since you went there.... This is why it takes a decade for a coach to build a top ranked D1 team. Depth! We are getting the top level recruits year after year now. It's building. Last year showed that we can have wars with the Iowa type programs. In the next couple of years the wars between Iowa, Minny, PSU and tOSU are going to be unreal.
