It hasn't gone according to script as their lower wts got whacked. But NDC pushed Jonatan Rivera (157), Eric Burgey (165), Joey Davis (174) and Garret Lineberger (184) into the finals to take a commanding lead (insurmountable I think) with all matches over except for the finals tonite in downtown Cleveland. Former KSU wrestler, Brandon Johnson, placed 4th at 197 to give NDC five AA's.
Congrats to the Falcons for another excellent season. These are the team scores with only the finals left.

NDC lost Scales to academic issues late in season but got back Eric Burgey just in time.

According the article in the PD Davis suggest he will transfer to a DI school if and when he wins his 2nd title. Could he end up at OSU? He said he wants to wrestle the best and DI is where that is.
I thibk he would fit in great and allow Martin to RS next year.

I have no idea if he's interested in tOSU or if they would be interested in him right now, but I do know that there was a picture of Davis in high school wearing tOSU wrestling shoes, for whatever that is worth.

According to a poster from another forum his coach is an Ohio State alumni, who has a great relationship with Tom Ryan. Jeff Jaggers Sr., a volunteer coach at NDC is the father of J. Jagger.

Anyone know the relationship between Andrassy and Romano? I wonder if Joey Davis is considering Kent St?

Davis needs competition in the room, which he would not have at KSU. OSU is loaded with talent around him.

I'd love to see Joey Davis transfer to tOSU--if that's something he wants to do. Academics are key to if/what Davis does next.

I get that tOSU is a better fit for Davis. Of course the reason I asked about Romano and Andrassy is that Romano was his coach at KSU before he "retired." In fact, I am sure Romano was the one that recruited Andrassy to come to KSU. That is why I posed the question. If there was no bad blood between them, you would think that KSU would be all over Davis.

NDC is so incredible. If Scales had wrestled, they would have scored another 15-20 points... which would mean they almost doubled the score of the second place team.
