Big Ohio flavor in this dual.
Most notably, RS FR Keith Sulzer with a 9-3 thrashing of LeClere at 141.
Lang - Metcalf up now...

That would qualify as a semi-shock given the form of LeClere this year, and not really seeing Keith's name bandied about so far. Congrats to Keith on a terrific win though - hopefully the first of many in his varsity collegiate career.

Could get interesting with Perry out; Northwestern should win 197 & 285. with bonus points.

Not so sure about Fox getting bonus points on Fields. Fox should win handily, but Fields doesn't give up many points, and is solid in his own regard, possible AA.

Metcalf really handle Lang thereHowever Lang style does not mesh well at all with Metcalf and never has, as Metcalf has won every match against him by big scores.
I wonder if Schlatter being held out is due to weight issues and they are keeping him fresh much like Michigan did a few years back with Churella.

NW does a nice job of taking the talent in their room and getting the most out of it. They're the Big Ten's version of Central Michigan from that point of view. Excellent job by Sulzer. I've already received an email from someone reminding me I didn't expect Sulzer to do anything special in college. This win alone proves me wrong. What else is new?
When one examines the thrashings Metcalf has given Lang and Jenkins, one has to more greatly respect Palmer's 5-3 loss. Yet Lang beat Palmer and Jenkins has split with him. Yet another example of the transitive property being disproved.
