Thanks for the reminder, Bob!
I hope CSU has a full strength lineup. Indiana is imminently beatable this year.
If any of you dot netters make the trip, stick around and say hello to me after the match. I'll either be running the clock or doing the book behind the scorers table.

Cleveland State defeated Indiana 24 -13. CSU jumped to an early 18-0 lead by winning the first 5 matches and then sealed it at the end with quality wins at 184 and 285.

Congratulations to CSU. This has to be one of their higher quality dual victories in quite a while.

Although I visit this site often, I don't usually post unless there is something that strikes my interest. Usually only if it relates to a specific wrestler or team that I have a personal connection with. This past fall I became an adjunct professor at Cleveland State in the graduate school of Social Work. As a result have had the opportunity to interact with the student body at a level that I have never had before. In short I am now a Viking which I can add to my list of teams and schools I support (Tiger - H.S. alum; Royal - former head coach; golden flash - undergrad alum; Spartan - graduate alum; Yellow Jacket - parent of current student; and now a Viking - current faculty).
Let's face it CSU has gotten a lot of sharp criticism on this site with respect to their wrestling performance. It is nice that they are getting some praise for a change, and deservedly so. After the Edinboro beat down I was thinking this might be another down year for the Vikes, but the truth is, Edinboro is a top ten team. Indiana by contrast is not a top 25 team, although they are still a big ten team nonetheless. Bottom-line this was a HUGE win for the CSU. If the Vikes can stay healthy they have a shot of being respectable in the EWL this year. I also think they have a chance to advance 3 or even 4 kids to the NCAA's this year.
Great win Vikes. Definitely going in the right direction.
