As per current PIAA rules, it will count as 3 competition points. Team score will be kept, with awards going to the top three. We will recognize the top eight wrestlers in each weight class with awards, including a custom Championship Belt for the winner of each weight class. We will be giving out an “Outstanding Wrestler” award, along with a “Most Falls” award.
In order to set the field, our tournament committee has been, and will be, in contact with top level teams from across the country. We have set a deadline of March 29 for teams to indicate their desire to compete at ETR in 2016. If you wish to compete, send me an email at wrestleETR@gmail.com by March 29. Please list the names and credentials of your returning wrestlers, include any high level incoming freshman/transfers. We plan to have the field set around April 1st.
