Here are your likely matchups.
125: Eric Morrill v. Nikko Triggas
133: Ricky Deubel v. Reece Humphrey
141: Torsten Gillespie v. J Jaggers
149: Darryl Cocozzo v. Lance Palmer
157:#2 Gregor Gillespie v. Jason Johnstone
165: #14 Jarrod King v. Colt Sponseller
174: #15 Phil Morricone v. Alex Picazo
184: #18 Chris Honeycutt v. Mike Pucillo
197: Pat Bradshaw v. John Weakley
285: #18 Joe Fendone v. J.D. Bergman
Comments: Edinboro has won 17 straight EWL duals and there's a reason: they are well coached and there are no easy touches in their lineup. Ohio State will be clearly favored at five wt classes--133, 141, 149, 184 and 285. Bucks also can win at 125 and 165 but those are not assured. I think the Michigan match demonstrated that Triggas is tough but not yet reliable. If he and Sponseller win, then the Bucks should cruise. Key to victory will be for the Bucks not to give up any upsets and to wrestle hard in matches where they are underdogs.
A few other thoughts: T. Gillespie was a rising star nationally before suffering a broken finger at the Southern Scuffle....King is a stiff test for Sponseller under any circumstances but particularly after suffering his first loss of the season. We'll find out quickly if Sponseller is carrying any mental baggage from his first defeat. King and Steve Luke had a great hs rivalry...Chris Honeycutt and Rick Deubel both won state titles in Ohio...
Finally:
Tom Straughn recently left Edinboro for Notre Dame College. Evidently, he didn't want to cut to 149 and felt he wouldn't start this year or next with Gillespie at 157. Also, he has stated that Edinboro was in the middle of nowhere. Finally, he said that it's nice to be closer to home.
Here's my question: Why didn't Straughn choose Kent? They recruited him hard. And he could have started for them this season. Based on what has been said--and I don't claim to know the whole story--Straughn's initial decision to choose Edinboro just seems like a missed opportunity for both him and the Golden Flashes. What a shame!

Since this is Senior night, I hope that T.J. will get the start at 141 or 149. I think he could win in either spot, and it will be his last opportunity.

I think that would be a great idea; I saw T.J. at Mich. State and he looked real sharp for someone who has missed most of the season (and at 149 on top of it) It would be a nice and well deserved senior send off. His beating #1 Nick Simmons in OT had to be one of the best dual meet matches in OSU history, what a night <excited>

Edinboro's 149, Cocozzo, is pretty good. It might be tough for Enright to go up that high and wrestle a guy with over 20 wins.

You might the THEEEEE OSU, but there is only one Ohio State University so no need for differentiation.
By the way, just say UofM and NO one thinks you are talking about Montana or Minnesota. Well, no one outside of those states. <smile>

Gary: In the wrestling world, OSU means Oklahoma State University. They have won more national titles than any other program in collegiate history. Plus, for reasons that befuddle me, Ohio State's official name is The Ohio State University. Hence, the "t".

U of M is University of Maine isn't it?
I know a Thursday match...the night before sectionals, will basically just draw the crazies in. But I hope after the last couple of matches, we have more on board the train....the "Crazy Train!" Everyone that can make it, get down there, it's the last homer.
