Talk about intensity. He looks focused and as if he is on a mission. Also saw Mitcheff and thought he was one of the best I saw until he wrestled Clark. At 285 Byrd from North Ridgeville is undefeated all with pins but only has 8 matches this year. When I was coaching, the internet didn't exist (or it did but was nothing like today). I woke up every morning and took a scissors to the newspaper and cut out the results. That was my method of scouting. Now, many smaller events make neither the newspaper nor the internet. What a shame. It may sound funny but I once used those results kept neatly in a shoebox to prove a coach was lying about the record of his wrestler at the sectional (it affected my kids draw alot). Now instead of relying on outdated magazine articles you have forums and results posted instantly on the internet. Chris springs on me as he is going to bed last night that he wants to go today and watch, so depending on the weather I might be taking a trip southwest this afternoon.
