Discussion Topic: Jeff Jordan's Camps

I know the accomplishments of the Jordans, but am wondering if anyone has had personal experience with Jeff's camps.
Were they all you expected them to be?
A good, or at least decent, value?
Do you feel that you, or your son, improved because of attending?
Would you recommend?
Thanks in advance for your input.

As somebody once told me, "Have him live down there if you can!"
I say the same thing to you.
The dad of this wrestler has a son that probably has the best high-crotch series in college wrestling or should I say "Inside tie, collar tie, head outside single..rotate doooouuuublle.........hit it!"
But if you shoot on this wrestler he will bust your head off in the front headlock! This series he has is nasty too!
Jordan's camps are great! My son goes every summer! Who ever is going for you, better be ready to workout hard and strap it on.
For all others reading this post...Name that wrestler? Probably to easy though.

Over the years I have taken my son to him. Jeff has all the tools to help anyone. His technicians are first class. He not only is a great teacher but a great story teller as most of us Jordan Vets can tell you <thumbsup>

We brought six guys one year. We (the coaches) stayed all week. We attended the team camp.
First - be sure to know the differences between the team camp and the individual camp. Two different locations and two different atmospheres. Technique is probably the same, but if you are going to the team camp, it'd be wise to stay.
Second - What is taght is a system. If you already have a system then the camp will show another version. If you are up for changing or modifying your system then it will be a great camp.
Third - The technique shown is 100% the same thing I have seen on the mat by the Falcons. Jordan doesn't change anything.
Fourth - From what I remember it was a majority of nuetral position. And after watching some of their matches, they enjoy being on their feet.
Last - (and this goes for any camp you go to, IMO) Make sure to learn one thing a day and drill the tar out of it. Even when you return to your home school, make sure to get back in the room at least once a week to drill those three or four things. If you pay any amount of money to attend a camp and don't get anything out of it, what good was it.
In the end, it is a great camp. I like the fact that there are little to no distractions. Where you sleep is where you wrestle is where you practice is where you shower is where you eat.
Final thing...show up in shape.
