Jaggers should be the one seed. He split with both guys seeded above him and is a returning AA. I think Palmer should be seeded above Jenkins. Again, my argument is he and Jenkins split but Lance is a returning AA. Everything else looks about right for the Bucks.

Scott: Do you think the Fox/Bergman seed is how it should be? The Buckeye in me says, "Hell yes!"
Just like your criteria for Jaggers and Palmer, what is your thinking behind Bergman over Fox...other than the obvious, "It's Bergman!!!"

Fox has a loss to Massey who Bergman pinned.

Palmer/Jenkins will happen in the QF regardless. As a coach I would rather my kid feel a little slighted anyway. I personally think that if they wrestled that 149 class 10 times, you will have 10 different results, so just wrestle.
The Big Eleven is incredibly deep this year in most weights. I know that the B11 is tough every year, but this year it seems just a bit deeper with kids coming out of the woodwork (like Jeff Marsh at Michigan.)
Should be a lot of fun watching this develop and the continuation in St. Louis.

My only beef is Russell as the #1 at 141. Jaggers beat him last and is a returning AA. I'd be willing to put Ruschell at #1, but not Russell.

It's incredibly difficult to seed some of these weights. One could argue that Jaggers got "hosed" a bit based on how well he finished. I certainly don't see why Kellen Russell got #1. Still, whoever makes the finals will have to beat someone tough twice.
Bergman, conversely, seems to have caught a nice break. Massey appears to be a much better wrestler now than the one J.D. pinned earlier in the season. Massey's defeat of Bergman led to J.D. getting the #1 spot. Honestly, I'd have still seeded Fox #1 as he still has a head to head over Bergman. As it stands, Bergman will likely face Fields in the semis and that's not a scary prospect.

Hank,
I agree that Fox could/should have gotten the # 1 seed. The only criteria I could see for doing it as they did was that Bergman was undefeated in Big 10 action while Fox had that loss.
I don't see how Russell got the #1 seed. I thought it would have gone Ruschell as the #1 and Jaggers #2.

good points re Jaggers, Palmer and Fox--- the pre-seeds are always very close to the actual seeds, but in this case i predict there will be a few key changes.
