Lake Catholic Senior Kevon Freeman is the 2018 recipient of the Lee Kemp Award. The award is voted on by the GCWCOA members and presented to Northeast Ohio’s Most Outstanding Senior Wrestler. Kevon placed first at the Solon Comet Classic, Brecksville Holiday, and Wadsworth Grizzly Invitational Tournaments. He also took 5th place at the Walsh Jesuit Ironman Tournament and 6th Place at the Beast of the East Tournament. He capped of his Senior season with his third state title and OHSAA Division II Most Valuable Wrestler honors. Kevon will be attending Ohio State University in the Fall.
