Teasdale was recruited to PSU to become their 125 but it never materialized. No one is sure what happened. A month ago, he was entered to wrestle for PSU at the Southern Scuffle--then he didn't.
Any thoughts?

Complete conjecture, but rumors were swirling that he just flat out couldn't maintain the weight. He's not better than Roman Bravo Young...no where to go. I find that hard to believe, but there's a part of me that believes it. Iowan Brody Teske is their guy in waiting, but he's definitely a year out from being a solid contributor. He's not at Teasdale's level, but he'll be tough. Teasdale continues to be an uncertainty....
-Commits to Iowa
-Decommits from Iowa
-Commits to PSU
-Leaves PSU during first semester
-Shows up at the start of 2nd semester
-Poised to wrestle at the southern Scuffle
-Misses weight at the Scuffle
-Leaves PSU.
Campbellsville, Lehigh, and Lock Haven may be possible suiters.

Jared: Good synopsis. The weight problem fits as an explanation as to why he was "in" then "out" at the Scuffle. I thought it might be "knuckleheaditis" but have no evidence to back it up.
I am surprised he's leaving so quickly especially after his de-commit from Iowa. Ironically, had Teasdale stuck with the Hawks, they probably don't bring in Desanto.

My thought is this goes the Marstellar route - a small, PA university that feels close to home.
Lock Haven
Edinboro
etc.
Hope it works out for him.
Side note - this could be a case of kids with decorated youth careers who seem to peak too early. As a FR/SO in HS he was considered one of the best in the country. I recall watching him getting teched by Pat Glory as a senior. Perhaps the competition caught up to him.

A part of me hopes its Edinboro and his arrival brings new life into a program that looks to be waining.

Dodgeball might be the greatest sports film of all time. You are officially the best poster on this website. Until Rex's next post.

Which means he won't be seen on the mat for two years? Odd choice, IMO.

Iowa makes sense if Teasdale is planning to go 141. Otherwise, I agree. Incidentally, he's visiting there. He hasn't committed.
