Discussion Topic: Fargo: Four Ohioans earn All-America honors in 16U Girls' Freestyle

Four Ohioans earned All-America honors in 16U Girls' Freestyle at the USA Wrestling National Championships in Fargo. As a team, Ohio finished in 14th place overall in the 41-team field.
Riley Banyas, an incoming freshman at Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst, went 5-2 to place fifth in the country at 100 pounds. Earlier this spring, she was the USA Wrestling-Ohio 16U Girls' Freestyle state runner-up and the OAC Girls' Middle School state champion at 106 pounds.
Ayala Wolak, an incoming junior at Coffman High School in Dublin, went 4-2 to place fifth in the nation at 144 pounds. This spring, she was the USA Wrestling-Ohio 16U Girls' Freestyle state champion at 151 pounds and the OAC Girls' High School state runner-up at 142 pounds.
Makayla Young, an incoming sophomore at Bellefontaine High School, went 3-2 to place seventh in the country at 94 pounds. In the spring, she placed third at the USA Wrestling-Ohio 16U Girls' Freestyle State Championships.
Cheyenne Meade, an incoming sophomore at Troy High School, went 4-2 to place seventh in the nation at 180 pounds. Previously this spring, she won the USA Wrestling-Ohio 16U Girls' Freestyle state championship at 180 pounds and placed third at the OAC Girls' High School State Championships at 218 pounds.
