Discussion Topic: Penn State with another game changer for recruiting
Christopher Sommers added to this discussion on November 13, 2019
I read this morning Bo Nickal is planning to open an MMA gym that wil be associated with PSU wrestling and I know many people from my generation have aspired to have MMA be their next goal after college wrestling. Is this almost a new RTC concept that will attract top competitors?? Many wrestlers post NCAA interviews have been talking about fighting so I think this will be huge to see if others try to follow up and pair up with established gyms and have satelite gyms near the campus. For now another edge will be going to PSU.
Does OSU have anyone who may be interested in opening a gym? I know Randleman and Lance Palmer are the only names that pop in my head when thinking mma and osu. Are there any young guys who would consider this venture in Columbus?

Mark Coleman used to have the Hammer House in Columbus, don’t think it was affiliated with the wrestling program in any way.

A.J. Agazarm sure is whooping ass in Belator. Still undefeated. Always seemed to me he was only at OSU to polish up his wrestling skills against some of the best to prepare for his MMA career. Would love to see something like this with Agazarm and Palmer.
