Olympic Style Wrestling Clinic
When: Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Where: Hilliard Davidson Wrestling Room (upstairs)
Clinicians: Slavko Lovrov: Serbian National Cadet and Junior Coach, Proleter Klub. Stevan Mladenovic: Proleter Klub Junior World Silver Medalist
Cost: $10 for Clinic Only and $10 for each person attending social. Payable together at the door.
The Proleter Klub from Zrenjanin, Serbia is currently ranked 3rd in Europe and 1st in Serbia. Each clinician from the club will demonstrate techniques used in Olympic style wrestling based on lifelong European training. These clinicians have competed and coached at the highest levels of our sport, please take advantage of them providing this opportunity by attending.
The Clinic will be followed by a Coaches Social at Emelio’s Restaurant 574 Georgesville Rd. $10 will include pizza, salad, and sodas from 7-9 pm. Cash bar will be available.
A dual meet will be held between Proleter and USA-Team Ohio on Monday April 7 at 6pm at Hilliard Davidson HS
Please email in advance if you plan on attending, include the name, number of participants, and which events (clinic and/or social) will be attended. RSVP no later than Weds. April 2: Jon_horn@hboe.org
ALL proceeds will fund use of facilities for 2 events, transportation ( 2 week van rental), housing, and food for the 10 members of the Proleter Klub during their 2 week visit.
All wrestlers under 18 must sign. Feel free to make copies
RELEASE, WAIVER, AND ASSUMPION OF RISK:
In consideration of the undersigned wrestler’s entry in this event, we the undersigned on behalf of ourselves and our heirs, executors, administrators, and all others, do herby assume all the risks and hazards of participation in the event and do hereby waive, release and discharge the Team Davidson Wrestling Club, Proleter Wrestling Klub, Hilliard City School District, all of their directors, officers, agents, and employees, and all tournament sponsors, volunteers, and participants from any and all claims for injuries, damages or loses directly or indirectly related to participating in this event. We realize we are assuming all risks and that we are releasing those parties herein identified in advanced of any occurrence from all claims including those arising from negligence and/or omission. If the undersigned wrestler ever attempts to disaffirm this release, the undersigned parent/guardian hereby agrees to defend and completely indemnify those hereby released as a result of any such effort or resultant judgment, claim, loss or suit.
