On BTN at 9:00.
I'm going to watch just to see #1 Gross vs. #2 RBY. Should be a good one.
Also, how Lee does against Moran compared to Pletcher's performance will probably add some fuel to that discussion.
I've got PSU winning fairly comfortably, 19-12 or thereabouts, but the upset potential is there.

BTN has had some fantastic duals on Friday evenings lately. My new Friday routine involves some big ten wrestling and some privacy...maybe a couple adult beverages too

To say Gross hung on for the win would be an understatement. Gross is Houdini. Nick Lee is a savage. He looks and wrestles like Zane Retherford was granted a sixth year. Relentless. Pletcher has to stay off bottom with him.

Couldn't agree more on both counts. RBY was far more impressive, 10 more seconds and he wins.
Lee looks awesome, going to be quite a match.

This "weakened" version of PSU still has a shot to win NCAA's. RBY, Nick Lee, Joseph and Hall can all be finalists/champs. Nevills, Brooks and Rasheed can place. I'd still favor Iowa but their margin for error isn't that big. Lee and Kemmerer are their best shots to make the finals with Marinelli being another big threat. Desanto, Young, Cassiopi and Lugo are all likely to do very well too. Warner and Assad are a bit more of wild cards but also capable of high AA status. No question Iowa runs deeper but a couple upsets while PSU remains solid and the Nits could pull it off.
So, fellow wrestling fans, who'd you rather see win it between these two teams?

Lee has been an absolute buzzsaw but I think think I favor Luke in this matchup. Lee has some people get to his legs but he has great defense and counters so very few score. Luke finishes quick and efficiently so maybe he has a chance to convert a few? Regarding bottom I also think you guys are selling Luke a bit short. There have been many a Buckeye that have struggled on bottom but Pletcher is not one of them. His standup, short sit and hand control are great and I think he'll have to be able to get out against Lee if he wants to win this match.
