That’s a lot of wrestling! Glad I didn’t plan a get-away weekend with my wife. ;-)

I watched Mason Parris overwhelm another opponent when I got home last night. I love the way he competes. I think Steveson is the better pure wrestler right now but he doesn't like to push himself and seems prone to moodiness on the mat. It will be interesting to see how things go between these two.

I also watched the match just to see Parris again.

Luke has moved to another level, as have a number of other guys, but no one has progressed as much as Parris. Bigger, stronger, faster, more confident, better technique than last year. Just so impressive.

He obviously has no problem with the "rounder" heavies, e.g. Cassioppi. One can't help but compare him to Cassar (it would have been great to see them go at it this year.)

We know what Cassar did against Steveson. I'm picking Parris to win it all.

Steveson did a workmanlike job of beating Cassioppi last night, certainly nothing like the demolition job by Parris.

What is it with Steveson's demeanor? I know that it's been commented on for years, but it's downright strange. Is it boredom, ultra-coolness, indifference, cockiness?

Parris vs. Hilger coming up on BTN, should be fun.

I'm not sure, but it rubs me the wrong way. I agree with Hank's assessment of it and I hope Parris beats him.
