So, this was already a thread for the Buckeyes, but since we got some time. What are you favorite matches for the other Ohio schools.
I have a few:
Jeremy Johnson beating Coon to be an AA his senior year. It was awesome.
Percival over Zadick is an all time great. Jake was so good!
Kilgore over Foster in the national finals by fall! Not a Kent fan, but that was pretty awesome!

It isn't a specific match, but in 2009 when Porter and Bedelyon broke Kent State's decades long drought of All-Americans, I thought that was a rather significant moment for those young men as well as Kent State.

Percival over Zadick was insane. He took it too him in that match. If I remember right that was on the season on Iowa back in the day.

Yes, Jake was a redshirt freshman and if I recall correctly, was unseeded when he thumped Zadick. This is among the most shocking results I can remember. Zadick was crushing everyone that year. Percival was the guy from the MAC who Zadick was supposed to steamroll on his way to the title.

definitely the Percival--Zadick match. ....i was siting almost matside, everyone was stunned beyond words. Jake could ride em. One of the very very very best Ohioans not to win NCAA. (along with Mike Deanna, Greg Elinsky, Joe McFarland & a few others)
this one i didnt see but HAS To Be mentioned. ...the other 2 No-brainers were Cleveland St 1980, believe it or not Billy Walsh beat Lee Roy Smith and Dan Foldesy beat John Smith to singlehandedly knock Oklahoma St out of the NCAA Tourn title...yes it happened
