Does anybody get denied a 6th year. Seems like the NCAA is Oprah now.

Maybe (probably?) it is just me but I can not understand why anyone would want to stay in school that long (especially as hard as D1 wrestling is). I wanted to get on with life.
OTOH, maybe he is trying to become a tenured student/athlete?

I assume these guys are working on their masters. Obviously they should be done with their undergrad degrees by the time they head into their sixth year

I assume that's the case as well. They have to be enrolled in a minimum number of credits each semester they compete, so assuming they are passing their courses they should be done with undergrad after 5 years.

On the topic of a 6th year, any update on whether Keyshawn Hayes has sought one? Granted?

If Hayes seeks a 6th year, is he likely to be a starter?

I think Hayes has displayed a great arsenal of talent throughout his career. But he's not going to beat out Sasso. He probably can't make 141. And he's probably out of scholarship money. Unless the Bucks want him at 157 and he's equally interested, I don't think this will happen.

Now, could he go elsewhere to grad school and help another squad? Absolutely.

Listening to his interview on their virtual end of the year awards, injury sounded like a career ender.
