This is a great event and I'm looking forward to watching. ANd I'm especially looking forward to watching the above-listed OH-RTC athletes get after it.

Is Mueller just a pick up, or is he going to join the Ohio Rtc? I’m assuming the former. Also, is Tomasello officially retired? I thought he was going to continue training while coaching down at Duke. When I initially saw Sasso down at 65kg I thick the...no way. Then I heard that they are allotting a 3kg allowance. Makes much more sense now.

Each team is aloud one extra guy that is not at their RTC and Mueller is that guys for Ohio RTC according to themat.com. Lots on youth through the lower middle weights but great potential. Echemendai, Sasso, and Karchla are all OTC next generation and it's great to see them getting the mat against this incredibly high level of competition. Karchla in particular will be tested with Dake, Mechi Lewis, Massa, and Wick all at 174. Love seeing Cox on the roster. With Moore's recent freestyle performances it appears that the Ohio RTC has 2 of the top 3 97 kg wrestlers in the US. I think Cox's presence also benefits Myles Martin a great deal as well.

I think I read somewhere that each team is allowed 2 extra guys. Dhesi is also not part of the Ohio RTC, right?

I thought he joined the RTC a year or so ago and is listed on the roster of athletes.

Dehsi is an Ohio RTC guy. He has a pretty legit shot of being the Canadian Olympic team member at heavy weight. I’m curious if he will be able to qualify the weight

Thank you for the confirmation on Dhesi.
It looks like Ohio RTC could have used a second athlete from another RTC if they wanted to. This is from themat.com: "The RTC Cup includes a provision which is used by UWW at the World Clubs Cup, where each team will be able to include two athletes on their roster who are not training at their RTC."

Karchla has Dake and Mechi Lewis. I think it's great that the young guys are going to have a chance to be tested against the best but a world champ and junior world champ in succession is a pretty brutal draw no matter who you are.
