Great info! I have to say that there seems to be so much unknown about this team. At face value it appears that this team has a lot of weights on the outside looking in at AA status. This will be a big year for a still very young team. I thought TRs squad wrestled a pretty gritty season last year and didn’t really get the opportunity to capitalize due to the lack of a post season. This will be a make or break year for guys like Heinsleman, Decatur, and a handful of others. I’m very excited to see where the Bucks stand in the next month.

Jim: Excellent information! Very Jason L Jackson-ish.

Is the B1G freaking tough or what!?!?!?!?! When one looks at it the way Jim has laid it out here, it's a wonder anyone makes it B1Gs or NCAAs with their limbs in tact.

Some of these guys are going to have losing records going into B10 and Nationals.

Illini line up
125- Cardani #22- just knocked off #8 Indiana
133- Byrd- Ohio folks know about this LaSalle product
141- Duncan #13- solid journeyman. Wrestled Pletcher tough last year
149- Carr #7- the return of Mikey Carr. The regular season king!
157- Mologousis
165- Braunagel #11- just tech’d #24 Indiana
174- Sizemore
184- Braunagel #10- tight match with Rocky last year
197- Wroblewski
285- Huffman

On a bad day, this dual could end up tighter than any of us want to admit. Let’s be frank, the first five weights could be toss ups. I see the Bucks as favorites at 174 and 285. Slight favorites at 149 and and 184. I think the Bucks could also get on a roll and upend the Illini. This would be a really solid start to the year for Heinsleman if he got the W here. Same for D’Emilio.

Wisconsin
*I don’t have Wisconsin’s lineup as they haven’t competed yet. Rumor is that Wick and Braxton Amos will both not be wrestling this season, although I’m not sure what the rationale would be. If that’s the case then Burnett-125 and Hilger -285 might be the only two guys that outpace the Bucks. This is clearly a rebuild year for the Badgers as they load up for the future. I think Ohio St has a much easier time with the Badgers then the Illini.

I don't see Wick or Amos listed on the Badger roster. The Buckeye weight that concerns me is 197.(and 165 if Carson is injured) Neither guy impressed me in the wrestle-off.

Not to make excuses but the cut for Singletary has to be big. Further, Hoffman looked pretty good at that weight. The days of cutting big may be behind us.
