InterMat is reporting that the Iowa wrestling program is pausing all in person team activities due to positive Covid tests. We know Tom Brands, and potentially Alex Marinelli may have had positive tests, but it’s notable that Kaleb Young was absent from the lineup this past weekend as well. Not stellar news from a Buckeye perspective considering our guys were the most recent to compete against them. Fingers crossed that our guys avoid any cross over. We are quickly approaching a point where Coaches need to be mindful of the quarantine window with Big Tens approaching. PSU, Michigan, and now Iowa have all suspended team activities at some point this year.

And the Bucs finish the dual season with two schools that have had multiple postponements due to the Covid, Mich. & PSU. I'm surprised they are still on for Fri. w/Mich since they cancelled their home BB game tomorrow with Illinois.

How would you wrestle Sunday and then pause all activities 24 hours later because of COVID issues unless you knew guys were positive that just competed the previous day? Because why couldn't the guys who completed Sunday still compete the following week vs. PSU unless some of those guys now had COVID issues?
With B1G's coming up in < a month, if somebody pops positive, their season is in serious jeopardy.

I can't answer that, I don't know all the rules and protocols, but until I hear that Iowa violated big ten protocols there is nothing to be mad at.
