BTW, I am not really sure what takes so long to implement the weight changes. I guess the other changes take place this coming year.        Discussion Topic: New weight classes and other rule changes for 23-24 Christopher Henderson added to this discussion on April 22, 2021 I genuinely like the new weight classes. They just make more sense. You would see fewer forfeits with either the 13 or 14 division styles. The weight classes were too too heavy the last ten years or so. Especially compared to the NCAA weights. I hope a lot of states adopt these new weight classes. The international and college weight classes should be closer together in a perfect world. The international has some weird gaps in weight that get bigger AND smaller as they go up. A little more tweaking and all will be right in the wrestling world!        ► Add to the Discussion
