Huge pickup. The top three recruits in 2022 are headed to Columbus. Tom Ryan has signed some very good classes at Ohio State, but none that were this good.

Legitimately stunning. I can't remember a stronger recruiting class on paper in the past 15 or so years.
There will (and should) be a lot of expectations for this group. I don't want to get too carried away, but that's supposed to be a dynasty type core.

Were Bo, Nato and Snyderman part of the same class? I don't recall

Bo and Nate were 13. Snyder and Micah were 14. Myles, Moore, and Hayes were 15.

Not technically, but with no shirt for Snyder they became one in practice. PSU did something similar redshirting Zain after 2014 to line up with Nolf/Nickal.
Getting that kind of firepower in a 1-2 year window is incredibly difficult to pull off.

No, but all three competed as freshmen the same year. Bo and NATO redshirted, Snyder did not.

So the Bucks super class is:
Nic Bouzakis (PA)
Jesse Mendes (Indiana)
Nick Feldman (PA)
Seth Shumate (OH)
Here are some recent Buckeye competitors:
Nate: 1,3,3,3
Snyder: 2, 1, 1,1
Bo: 4xAA (finalist)
Micah: 3x AA (finalist)
MyMar: 1, 5, 2,3
Moore: 4x AA (finalist--title fave during Covid)
Pletcher: 3x AA (title co-fave during Covid)
Stieber: 4x champ
Heflin: AA and finalist
Hunter: 2xAA prior to injury
I love this recruiting class but the bar has been set so high by wrestlers in recent years. What are reasonable expectations for this group?

At this pace, 10 National Champions!!!
Kidding, of course. However…
125: Gonzales
133: Bouzakis
141: Decatur/D’Emilio/Mendez
149: Sasso and then Mendez/D’Emilio
157: Gallagher
165: Kharchla/Gallagher?
174: or is Kharchla here?
184: Jordan (for this year & next)
197: Hoffman/Shumate
285: Feldman/Boykin
2022-2023 and 2023-2024 - that’s certainly a formidable line-up.
2023/2024 we do not have Jordan & Hoffman. Shumate and one more will need to step up.

"Rocco Welsh perhaps?"

I’ve heard they are trying to get Rocky to come back next year so they can RS Welsh and then have him step in at 184.
Buckeyes had #2 at 160 Barr on campus last weekend and could land him as well.

I was informed that I forgot him so yes - I stand corrected on that.

There is not a class in the last decade at least comparable to this, incredible. PSU landed the top two recruits (Suriano and Hall) several years ago. This will attract more as well. Gavin Brown goes unmentioned quite a bit, but he’s showing some real promise as well. I believe he placed relatively high at Super 32 recently. He’ll probably slot around the 149/157 class as well. This is a substantial boost for a program with already high expectations. Well done Coach Ralph and company.
