Ohio state dominates 51-0. I question why Ohio state put this matchup on their schedule. It would have been fun to watch some matchups with Notre Dame over the past 5-10 years but this program is no where close to what it used to be. Joey Davis, isiah white, even ex buckeye Jose Rodriquez were definitely big names to come from this program that would have given buckeyes some fits. But this team isn’t even a top 20 division 2 team. I just don’t see the point for either team to get and give up a tech fall or pin each match. Just wish we would have filled this match with Ohio u, Kent State, or even Cleveland State. At least an Ohio team that could have had a few competitive bouts. I’m guessing probably just because the Anthony Ralph connection? I don’t think this years Notre Dame team could probably win a match against our b squad.

Before the match I looked up some of the bio's on the Notre Dame wrestlers and I thought this matchup was going to get ugly, and it did. I, too, wondered why ND scheduled the Bucs? Iowa sometimes early in the season schedules small schools and does what OSU did.

In fairness to OHST, many schools (B1G included) wrestle in-state competition - regardless of division - in November (and sometimes December).
I’ll say now that I don’t know any off-hand, but will most likely waste 20 minutes looking up schedules on the interwebz. I honestly don’t have a life. :-)

A few years ago there would have been some great matches; however, I see nothing wrong with raising awareness of an Ohio collegiate wrestling option by scheduling them.
I also would love an annual quad with CSU, KSU, OU, and TOSU, rotating the host each year.
