Jermail Porter gets the first takedown against David Zabriskie but gives up an escape. He gets ridden the whole second period and gives up an escape in the third. he loses 3-2 because of riding time. if he wins, he's an AA and Kent gets the monkey off their back. He gets the only takedown but still loses. That's the trouble with college wrestling--riding time equals stalling.
I thought Gross would do better but bowed out in a slugfest with Rella a few rounds shy of AA.
Mitcheff and Lashaway won a few but never really got going.
