Bucks take on American University in a dual Monday night. I believe the dual is on ESPN plus at 7:30. Not a whole lot to discuss in the way of the dual. There may be one ranked matchup, at heavyweight, but that’s it. In the pre match write up it appears that Betancourt will make his debut at 133. Backups at 141 and 165 as well. I was curious why the Bucks added this match so close to the start of Big Ten dual season. Then I remembered that Jason Borelli was named the new head coach of the program. After Stanford I’m curious if this was a favor to support a coach in a rebuild. I’m sure not too many folks were lined up to wrestle January 3rd. The coaching staff looks impressive: Borelli, Alex Tirapelli, Joey Dance, among others.

I, too, thought it was an odd dual - timing and team-wise. But I'm sure tNDG & Co. have a reason for it.
I'll be pulling double duty tonight as OHST v. AMER is on as well as ASU v. MICH.

Bucks might well have some guys out due to Covid. It's everywhere at the moment. Should ebb by late January.

According to the eleven warriors site it appears the dual has been cancelled due to weather.

Just read this.
Gardner-Webb coach sent me a text message showing his weather forecast for Boiling Springs, NC (a running joke between us) - it showed snow. ...in southern NC. Dude! That happens once every three years. I'm sure DC is getting hit worse than NC.
