Hilde v Malik--Hilde lost 2-1 to Suriano. He's long and has excellent D. Bad matchup for MH but one never knows.
133: RBY v Koontz--Ouch
141: Lee v Demilio--more ouch although I'm sure Dylan D will give his best
149: Sasso v Bartlett--Sasso is obvious fave but Bartlett will do his best to keep it close.
157: Barraclough v Steubenville--Pick em
165: Kharchla v Berge--Berge is not yet in match shape and it showed v Marinelli. Still, I'd expect him make Carson work for a decision
174: Starocci v Grundy--Yet another brutal matchup for Ethan.
184: Brooks v Romero--intriguing but edge to PSU
197: Dean v Hoffman--Dean is small at the weight and has struggled with bigger wrestlers until the third period. That's when he beat Brucki and Warner. Hoffman can keep it close.
285: Kerkvliet v Orndorf--After Kerk beat Parris I would have said Mr Wonderful has no shot. Then Cassiopi beat him up by taking away his fave leg attack and going up top. In the immortal words of the late Marty Schottenheimer: "There's a gleam men." Use your size and greco skills Tate.
Bucks would have to have the greatest effort in program history to win but they have a shot to make it close. Typically this is the dual where the Bucks have at least deflating result. Hopefully Coach Ryan has them ready to compete as a fired up underdog

Malik lost to Hildebrandt in OT in 2019 so should be a close match.
I think Bucks could win 149-157-165 with a chance at 125. Outside of that I don’t know where another win comes from. I expect close matches at 174-184-197 and blow outs at 133-141-285.

Match is at Penn State. This has become as challenging of an environment for visitors as Carver Hawkeye, maybe even more so.
Good test for the Buckeyes. A definite growth opportunity.
Particularly excited to see Romero and Brooks. Romero's defense is top notch right now. He'll have a chance.

I’m curious if this match happens pending weather. I agree with everything said previously. Ethan Smith, after this dual, has wrestled 4 of the top six including 1, 2, and 3. Ethan seems like the best of the next tier of guys.

Agree about Ethan. That's a very tough weight class. He slots in as a lower AA but there will be no margin for error.

Historically speaking he's probably correct. To the best of my knowledge, Bucks have never even pulled a mild upset against Cael coached Nitts.

I don’t think anyone has other then Iowa. I think Cael is 52-1 in duals.
Individually speaking unfortunately falls same results as team. Bucks had a shot a few years ago but unknown Ceaser beat Moore.
I’m sure there are other examples but can’t think of any off the top of my head.

Ugh, I was there that night. One of about 10-15 people in red. That damn gym went nuts.

If he was to get beat by Retherford, that was the the best time, as we all know Logan went on to beat him at the Big Tens & NCAA. In fact I don't think he ever beat Logan again, as they met a few times in FS events.
