Good tourney for Cleveland State. Qualified three kids. Kent had two and unfortunately Ohio U. Had none. One of the Hagen brothers was obviously hampered by injury as was a hopeful fourth qualifier for CSU at 184, Deandre Nassar. Riley Smucker battled back from early loss to take third in a tough match and qualify. Ben Smith captured the only allocation at 197. Mr Komarov had a great tournament for Kent winning 149 with a pin of number one seed Marcus Robinson from CSU. I know it’s not the big tens but very competitive, closely fought battles made this a very entertaining tourney.

OU looked good early in the season, appeared to level off and then faded. Injuries?
